I focus my energy toward what I am most passionate about, art. I am a mixed media artist and describe my style as a mix of representational and abstract ideas that come together by the use of bold outlines, vibrant colors and mixed media. I was born and raised in Minneapolis, Minnesota and attended the University of Minnesota, where I received a B.A. degree in Speech Communications with a minor in Studio Arts. My areas of strong interest were television production and drawing. After graduating, I built a career in the television production world, and I spent over a decade as a director-producer for Met-Hodder, a Minneapolis based production company. During this time, I continued my education at the Minneapolis College of Art + Design as well as the Minnetonka Center for the Arts. I started painting in 2003 and began showing my work after entering my first painting "All I Want Is Love" into the Minnetonka Center for the Arts' Member's Juried Show that year. I enjoy doing commissioned works, gallery showings, local art festivals as well donating to a number of charitable silent & live auction events. My family and I now live in Baltimore, Maryland.
